LACMP is a place for adult musicians (particularly string players) to play in small musical ensembles. All levels are welcome from beginner to professional.  Most of the meet ups are free, but some are classes for which we charge tuition. Most meet ups take place at the Metzler Violin Shop.

The purpose of this group is to provide an opportunity for players  in Orange County, of varying levels of experience, to play various combinations of chamber music, largely depending on the instruments and level of members who join. The group is mostly meant to be just for fun, but could also lead to public performances when appropriate. Santa Barbara Music Jam is a website for local musicians to find playing partners, form a band, trade songs, or just feel the synergy that comes from playing with other musicians.   All levels, all instruments, all genres are welcome.  Singers, bass players, drummers, and pros who enjoy mentoring are especially welcome.   Meetups will be designed for the members.  Here's to hoping that Santa Barbara Music Jam becomes a self-supporting social music network.

This is a south west Riverside area group organized for the purpose of bluegrass jamming. This is a an ALL acoustic jam.  The location of this meet up is to be determined.  The plan is to play old grass, new grass, progressive, whatever, but it's mostlyl bluegrass.  Many of the existing regional jams wind up playing mostly old timey and old country.  We love old timey & country, but this is designed to salve the bluegras addiction.
